Relationship Therapy
Therapy for relationships that deserve thoughtful attention.
Every relationship develops patterns. Some bring us closer together, while others leave us feeling disconnected, misunderstood, or stuck having the same conversations over and over again.
Relationship counseling provides a space to better understand those patterns, improve communication, navigate conflict, and strengthen the connection you want to build together. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or simply want to be more intentional about your relationship, therapy can help you move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
Relationships are complex.
Therapy should make room
for that.
No two relationships are the same. Every partnership is shaped by each person's history, identity, values, communication style, and lived experiences. Rather than looking for someone to blame, we'll work together to understand the dynamics between you and identify new ways of relating that feel more intentional and sustainable.
My role isn't to decide who's right. It's to help everyone feel heard, understand the patterns that keep showing up, and create opportunities for meaningful change.
Whether you're navigating conflict, rebuilding trust, adjusting to life transitions, or exploring difficult decisions, therapy offers a place to have conversations that can be difficult to have on your own.
I may be a good fit if you’re…
Feeling disconnected from one another.
Having the same arguments without resolution.
Wanting to improve communication.
Rebuilding trust after a rupture.
Navigating differences in intimacy, sexuality, or desire.
Exploring relationship agreements or boundaries.
Preparing for marriage or deepening your commitment.
Managing life transitions together.
Exploring whether your relationship can move forward.
Looking for a therapist who affirms LGBTQ+ relationships, consensual non-monogamy, and kink.
My approach
My work is relational, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. Together, we'll explore not only what's happening in your relationship today, but also the experiences and patterns that influence how each of you shows up with one another.
Rather than focusing solely on conflict, we'll also build on the strengths already present in your relationship. Therapy is about creating greater understanding, fostering emotional connection, and helping you develop practical ways to navigate challenges together.
My hope is that you leave sessions with a clearer understanding of yourselves, a deeper appreciation for one another, and concrete ways to strengthen the relationship you're building.
What to expect
Relationship sessions are tailored to the unique needs of everyone involved. Some sessions focus on improving communication or resolving conflict, while others explore intimacy, trust, family dynamics, identity, or the impact of past experiences on the relationship.
There may also be times when meeting individually with each partner supports the overall work, when clinically appropriate and agreed upon together.
Sessions are available in person in Houston and virtually throughout Texas.
Ready to get started?
Healthy relationships aren't built by avoiding difficult conversations. They're strengthened by approaching those conversations with greater understanding, curiosity, and intention.
If you're wondering whether relationship counseling is the right next step, I'd be happy to talk through your goals and answer any questions during a consultation.
