Therapy
Growth happens in relationship.
Some of the most meaningful changes we make don't happen in isolation. They happen when we're seen, understood, challenged, and supported by others who are doing the same work.
Group therapy offers a unique opportunity to explore your experiences in a supportive community while practicing new ways of connecting, communicating, and relating to others. It combines the insight of therapy with the healing potential of genuine human connection.
Why group therapy?
Many of the challenges people bring to therapy involve relationships in some way. We may worry about how others see us, struggle to trust, feel disconnected, avoid conflict, or wonder if we're the only one having a particular experience.
Group therapy creates a space to explore those patterns in real time. As members share their experiences, offer support, and respond to one another, new perspectives emerge that simply aren't possible in individual therapy alone.
You'll have opportunities to practice vulnerability, receive honest feedback, recognize common humanity, and discover that you don't have to navigate life's challenges by yourself.
What group therapy is like
My groups are built on curiosity, respect, and collaboration. While I'll guide the conversation and help create a safe, thoughtful environment, the group itself becomes an important part of the therapeutic process.
You'll have space to:
Share your experiences at your own pace.
Learn from the perspectives of others.
Explore relationship patterns as they arise.
Practice healthier communication.
Give and receive meaningful feedback.
Build deeper self-understanding through connection.
You never have to share more than you're ready to. Participation grows naturally as trust develops within the group.
Current groups
I offer ongoing therapy groups focused on creating supportive communities around shared experiences and identities.
Current offerings include:
Who group therapy is for
Group therapy may be a good fit if you:
Want to feel less alone in your experiences.
Learn best through connection with others.
Want to strengthen your relationships.
Appreciate hearing different perspectives.
Feel ready to practice new ways of communicating.
Want support from people who understand your experiences.
Are looking for a more affordable way to engage in therapy.
A community built on respect
Confidentiality, mutual respect, and thoughtful participation are essential to every group. Members are encouraged to contribute honestly while honoring the experiences and identities of others.
Groups work best when members commit to showing up consistently. As trust develops over time, the group becomes a place where people can take risks, receive support, and experience meaningful growth together.
What to expect
Before joining a group, we'll schedule a consultation to discuss your goals, answer questions, and determine whether a particular group is a good fit for your needs.
Groups meet weekly and include a small number of members to allow everyone meaningful opportunities to participate. While every group has its own focus, all are designed to foster connection, curiosity, and lasting change.
